Summer Photo Walk in Prague
Summer gives Prague long daylight and green parks, together with heat and dense foot traffic around central landmarks. A photo walk works best near the edges of the day, when the light is lower and the streets are easier to share.
The route should stay compact. Old Town and the river fit one session, while Castle Hill or Vyšehrad deserves a separate plan unless several hours and transport breaks are available.

Start with the summer light

Both plans use a natural downhill direction for much of the session. Add one flexible stop rather than a long list. Street work, festivals and wedding parties can occupy a preferred location. Nearby lanes usually provide a strong alternative without losing the architectural character of the district.
Clothing, heat and sudden rain
Breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes matter during a warm walk. Solid colors separate cleanly from detailed facades, while small repeating patterns can distract. Carry water and a light layer, but keep luggage small enough to move between frames quickly.
Summer showers often pass, so a covered arcade can keep the session moving. Wet streets add reflections after the rain. Thunder, high wind or heat warnings require a safer time or a reschedule rather than an improvised outdoor shoot.

Send the group size, preferred date and desired style before confirming the route. Mention children, mobility limits and any proposal or anniversary plan. The photographer should explain how crowded conditions affect the number of locations. Confirm session length, approximate delivery count, editing, turnaround and portfolio permission.
