How to get to Prague Zoo
A common public transport route uses Metro line C to Nádraží Holešovice, followed by bus 112 to Zoologická zahrada. Drivers should follow the zoo’s official parking information because individual lots fill at different times. A taxi or ride service can drop passengers close to the main entrance. Cyclists have designated parking areas near the complex.
How to plan the route inside
Choose several priority habitats before arrival and connect them in one direction across the hillside. Repeated climbs consume time, especially with a stroller or in warm weather. The zoo map marks steep paths, restaurants, restrooms and indoor spaces that can break up the route. Animal activity changes through the day and by season. Cooler morning or late-afternoon periods may suit outdoor observation, while pavilions provide shelter during rain. Feeding programs and temporary closures change, so treat the official daily program as the final reference.

Troja Chateau stands near the lower entrance, and the Botanical Garden lies uphill. Combining all three can create an overly long day, so select two if interiors and gardens matter. A riverside walk is an easier addition after several hours inside the zoo.
